Deploying from this image works so far. Now I want to deploy from this image and attach an additional ephemeral disk to it:

root@controller:~# nova boot --flavor 2 --image 8ce3fb03-01b7-4232-aba1-84a026753db3 --ephemeral size=20 --nic net-id=d42258ee-014a-465d-9c43-82fd6cccffc3 instance02
ERROR: Ephemeral disks requested are larger than the instance type allows. (HTTP 400) (Request-ID: req-b06d71d0-58e3-4cbc-888d-39e06c18c2c0)
root@controller:~#

I create a flavor to allow ephemeral disk space:

root@controller:~# nova flavor-show e112fbeb-08e7-4e41-83df-541d40a6c981

Creating the instance with

nova boot --flavor e112fbeb-08e7-4e41-83df-541d40a6c981 --image 8ce3fb03-01b7-4232-aba1-84a026753db3 --ephemeral size=6 --nic net-id=d42258ee-014a-465d-9c43-82fd6cccffc3 instance01

I get this error on the nova-compute node:

Hi, I could just verify the exact same error message using VMwareVCDriver instead of the formerly used VMwareESXDriver. push
