I tired openstack vmware integration using ml2 plugin, but the issue is the VM are not IP address and the VMS are getting properly created in the VCenter, I debugged more on the dhcp and router but not success and error in the logs, And after surfing I found that separate plugin is required to make is that so, If yes, please tell guide or link to do so newton openstack (Ubuntu 16.04)

Hi, you can only create VMs in the provider network unless using VMWare NSX (licensed software for managing networks) - [edit] as @eduardo-gonzalez clarified below, there is a community feature here: https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Neutr...

Make sure you've correctly named the "integration bridge" and created the port group at VCenter with the same name.

I've made it work before with Newton, more details here: https://ask.openstack.org/en/question...

There is a community feature to deploy without NSX called OVSvApp https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Neutr...

Thanks gian and Eduardo @Gian using your vif code changes the port groups are created automatically everytime a new VM is launched on new network. Only thing I am considered with is the port group are not attached to any esxi host that are present in cluster and the VM are not ip.

There are no error logs. Dnsmasq is working. Checked the /var/lib/<network id="">/hosts the IP are leased and the traffic reaches the qrouter of provider network an not the next bridge
