Hello I am testing a prototype using openstack with 1 manage node and 2 compute nodes, when a virtual machine is created in one of those nodes the web vnc console works, but when it is created in the other, a message is displayed "console is currently unavailable. Please try again later". I am pretty sure the configuration in the nova.conf is correct since the other node works, so I looked in the nova-compute log for any problems and looks like a process is terminating with an exception:

['Traceback (most recent call last):\n', ' File "/opt
/stack/nova/nova/openstack/common/rpc/amqp.py", line 461, in _process_data\n **arg
s)\n', ' File "/opt/stack/nova/nova/openstack/common/rpc/dispatcher.py", line 178, i
n dispatch\n raise rpc_common.UnsupportedRpcVersion(version=version)\n', 'Unsuppor
tedRpcVersion: Specified RPC version, 3.2, not supported by this endpoint.\n']

I don't think there is really a problem with the RPC version is this a bug? Is there a way to fix it?

Can you please share your nova config both on the controller node and compute node.

Ensure that you have the right rpc configuration in all the nova.conf. Line-by-Line comparison would help.
