Neither the instance console nor the "click here to show only console" work. I get:

Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 0.0.0.0:6080.

    The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

For the love of God.. OK, let's go looking:

[root@kvm8 ~(keystone_admin)]# ps -ef | grep nova-novncproxy
nova     15122     1  0 Apr28 ?        00:01:36 /usr/bin/python2 /usr/bin/nova-novncproxy --web /usr/share/novnc/

Now let's see if that process has a listening socket on port 6080:

[root@kvm8 ~(keystone_admin)]# netstat -pln | grep 15122
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:6080            0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      15122/python2

Anyone have any guesses here? The service is running and the host believes it is listening on the correct port. This is packstack, nova 15.0.0....

Oh, and changing the 0.0.0.0 to 127.0.0.1 still does not work

change in nova.conf novncproxy_base_url with a proper the host IP address. Also, share vnc config at nova.conf

Editing /etc/nova/nova.conf to restore novncproxy_base_url to point to host IP address, example:

novncproxy_base_url=http://192.168.140.218:6080/vnc_auto.html

Then restart openstack-nova-novncproxy seems to have done the trick
