Port 5000 is Keystone. When Apache is restarted, some other process seems to be listening on this port.

Read the Apache and Keystone log files, as recommended by the error message. Stop Apache and check if anything listens on port 5000. Then start Apache and, in case of error, check again.

Why do you install Mitaka, by the way? The current version is Ocata, and Mitaka has officially reached EOL.

"Unable to open logs" is strange. Is there a permissions problem? Or the log directory (probably /var/log/apache2) is missing?
