In the Openstack dashboard when i click on 'Container' I get the below error, instead of a listing of swift containers: Error: Unable to retrieve container list

It is in Openstack environment, Essex version and trying to click on Horizon dashboard option Container I get the error

Error: Unable to create container.

The error message when I run swift command on Proxy server is below the command

swift -v -V 2.0 -A http://10.1.168.103:5000/v2.0/ -U admin:admin -K hastexo list

Hi,

It looks like your swift authorisation is not set up correctly.

You should be able to complete the "Verify the Installation" steps here: http://docs.openstack.org/grizzly/openstack-object-storage/admin/content/verify-swift-installation.html to ensure your swift cluster's authorisation is working.

The link has the command to test swift -v -V 2.0 -A http://10.1.168.103:5000/v2.0/ -U admin:admin -K hastexo list In the above command please confirm if the http:// address is a proper endpoint. I am getting error Account GET failed: http://10.1.168.105:8080/v1/AUTH_755c2d33dbf6470997f15c112258207b?format=json 503 Internal Server Error

In the Openstack Essex 12.04 (Precise Pangolin) dashboard when you click on the Containers and Provide a name to the container and click Create Container then I get the below error Error: Unable to retrieve container list.
