What should be actual configuration for openstack in production for 10000 vm??

For the controller, compute(if hypervisor is Vcenter or KVM) and rest openstack nodes, Is Openstack HA recommended in production or each service on separate node.

For anything in production, HA is recommended. The compute nodes are normally not HA, since VMs are often expendable.

By configuration I mean Hardware configuration to provision 10000 vm as mentioned in this question

I think you can, on average, run something like 50 VMs on an average server. But before you go to Amazon and buy 200 Proliant DL380s, do some testing with the type of workload you plan to run on the cloud. Also read the Architecture Guide and the Capacity Planning section of the Operations Guide.
