MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC please suggest something to make it work.

i am using Openstack-mitaka to launch an automated VM with some application but my VM console is not getting boot. i am using libvirt-qemu hypervisior with NOVA service and neutron networking services. When my instance is getting boot that time i am getting these error please somebody help me out. *tsc: FAST TSC calibration failed MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC*

I don't think it's really an error, but googling for Fast TSC calibration yields many results. One suggestion I saw was adding clocksource=acpi_pm to the Linux command line in the grub config. Or perhaps noapic in the Linux command line.

Kernel command line option no_timer_check helped me with this (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5 guest). But this I suspect the OpenStack install was not solid. Need it only in one cluster. See

Thnx Bernd Bausch, But Even i fed up googling with these errors bcoz this clocksource i have done but still m getting the same error could you plz suggest anything else.... so i can proceed to next level.

Sorry I am not smarter than Google in this case. I would try to move the application to another operating system or try to run it with different hypervisor versions.
