when launching an instance , is it possible to add a script that contain docker installation ?

hi everyone, i installed openstack newton multi-nodes (4 nodes ) and i am asking if it is possible to add a script containing instruction to install docker and running some containers after installing docker from launch instance interface ( configuration tab ) . thank you

Hi Zoubayer,

When launching instances, you can add user-data, I would add cloud-init script to launch after instance is created.

Create a file with cloud-init configuration and add --user-data while creating the instance.

With Horizon you can add the script at Configuration tab.

Specify a customization script that runs after your instance launches.

Hi Eduardo, Thank you for your interest , infact i 've seen it and i thought it was only for infrastructure ressources . now that i know it support packages too i will test it and hopefully it works . thanks again
