Hello,

When we use TripleO to install Openstack, we create a JSON file with our nodes and their capabilities.

I try to find a list of the "capabilities" and their values. For example, I usually see this:

capabilities": "node:controller-X,boot_option:local"

So, except of the node, which is clear, what other options can we enter?

What are the possible values of "boot_option" and what is their meaning?

There are two boot_option possibilities :

capabilities:boot_option=local

or by default

capabilities:boot_option=netboot

With "netboot" the nodes will always PXE boot (and chainload to the local disk after it's being deployed).
