Hi,

I've been working on an openstack project and we need a solution for per vm monitoring (we use KVM instances). I have installed ceilometer but it doesn't have good graphical interface in the horizon. I also tried zabbix but it only supports per host monitoring. What are our options for monitoring VMs (preferably graphical) ?

thanks in advance.

I like telegraf (agent) -> influxdb (time series db) -> grafana (graphical analytics and monitoring). It is fairly straight forward to set up, yet flexible. You can easily do things like send alarms to your op team's Slack space.

There is a solution that connects ElasticSearch to Ceilometer. See also here. You may want to view a video of a Kibana+Ceilometer demo. It seems that this is supported by Fuel.
