I used Red Hat Openstack 10, and launch new Ubuntu14 instance. When I boot this instance, it will be stuck on iPXE boot message:

iPXE (http://ipxe.org) 00:03.0 C980 PCI2.10 PnP PMM...

How can I solve this problem? (I have tried on cirros demo image from Openstack, and same result)

Thanks.

Problem can be solved. I was upgraded QEMU to new version.

$ virsh version

QEMU 1.5.3

$ yum install qemu-kvm qemu-img

$ virsh version

QEMU 2.6.0

Thanks, this solved my case as well. However, I had to enable the qemu-kvm-ev repo in Centos before I could upgrade qemu.
