I’m able to create flavor using the OS::Nova:Flavor properties in the standard openstack, but when I’m using the same in Redhat Openstack environment I’m getting the following error. ERROR: Property error: : resources.custom_flavor.properties: : Unknown Property name

I found on some link that flavor creation properties is not supported in the Redhat Openstack. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug....

I checked the version of nova and heat as well which shows that it’s Liberty. Nova: Version : 12.0.5 Release : 9.el7ost

Heat: Version : 5.0.1 Release : 9.el7ost

Does this property available in RHOS, if yes, from which release?

Hi,

May I know how did you get this issue solved? I've used heat_template_version: 2016-10-14 in the HOT,it shows version is invalid "ERROR: The template version is invalid: "heat_template_version: 2016-10-14". "heat_template_version" should be one of: 2013-05-23, 2014-10-16, 2015-04-30, 2015-10-1"

@Bella It looks like you're running the Mitaka version of Heat, so you won't be able to use this property until your cloud is upgraded to Newton or later. (Also, FWIW properties are linked to the Heat version, not the template version.)
