Hello,

I'm trying to start Neutron with Octavia but seems like I should have done further configuration. My first question is how start octavia? Because executing netstat -an | grep 9876 won't show anything. But in neutron/server.log is showing

WARNING stevedore.named [req-11be200a-50f9-4375-ab67-6ce183a27a34 - - - - -] Could not load neutron_lbaas.drivers.octavia.driver.OctaviaDriver
INFO neutron_lbaas.drivers.octavia.octavia_messaging_consumer [-] Starting octavia consumer...

Also, the /etc/octavia/octavia.conf have almost every line commented with # character, but I didn't find anyone telling that you have to modify this file to make this work.

/etc/neutron/neutron.conf

service_plugins=neutron_lbaas.services.loadbalancer.plugin.LoadBalancerPluginv2

/etc/neutron/neutron_lbaas.conf

service_provider= LOADBALANCERV2:Octavia:neutron_lbaas.drivers.octavia.driver.OctaviaDriver:default

Any help will be appreciated.

Enviroment: Centos7 x64, RDO Packstack Ocata

It sounds like the octavia packages might not have been installed. You might get help by adding packstack and RDO to the tags on this post.
