hi all I have this nagging question I'm hoping someone could clear up for me.

When I deployed openstack using opnfv Brahmaputra Fuel, in the settings I selected the KVM hypervisor type. and not the QEMU type.

But when I look at the XML of instances running on my compute nodes I see: <type arch="x86_64" machine="pc-i440fx-trusty">hvm</type>

I know that looking directly at the instance settings directly at the KVM/virsh level is not always a good idea. But is that HVM something I should be concerned with?

thanks

checking in the running instance all indications do indicate PVM dmesg lspci lsmod

still does the <type>hvm</type> not mean anything?
