There is a directory named "rpc" in keystone/openstack/common in havana keystone. What does rpc mean? And how to use it?

rpc = remote procedure call. This contain the common files required RPC comunication. See your keystone.conf and check for rpc_backend key. This key defined the package path for rpc. this directory contain implementation of those library.

I saw the description in keystone.conf: # Notifications can be sent when users or projects are created, updated or # deleted. There are three methods of sending notifications: logging (via the # log_file directive), rpc (via a message queue) and no_op (no notifications # sent, the default) # For Keystone, these options apply only when the RPC notification driver is # used. So, I want to know when I use notify ? And where this notify will be sent to?
