Dears,

I have defined two ovs bridges, each one of them is deployed in one Virtual Machine (VM) based on this simple topology:

Internet ----- OVS1 ----LAN---- OVS2 -----Internet

I used the following commands for OVS1:

ovs-vsctl add-br mybridge1
ifconfig mybridge1 up
ovs-vsctl add-port mybridge1 eth1 //eth0 is dedicated for Internet
ifconfig eth1 0
ovs-vsctl add-port eth1 mybridge1
ovs-vsctl set-controller mybridge tcp:AddressOfController:6633

Then I tried to make the ping between the two VMs but it fails ! Could you please tell me how to fix this problem.

NB: the ping is Ok without ovs bridge

Thanks in advance. Regards

Is Internet connectivity is in one interface and LAN in another interface say for example eth0 and eth1?

You might get some feedback when you ask the Openvswitch community rather than OpenStack.

Besides, the commands in your question are hard to read. Some reformatting would help.
