Hi all,

I have installed openstack Liberty on 2 servers for 3 months. Couple of days, I have seen an issue that network to instances is not stable. When ssh to instanaces or ping to these, the packets or connection lost.

I tried to restart 2 hosts or neutron network but cannot solve the problem. Sometime it is ok, sometime it is not ok.

please check on the switch side were the servers are connected, if the ports are flapping? this looks more to be a switch side issue if you have not made any recent changes on the server side. also are the ports on the host bonded? if yes, then what type of bonding?

DEVICETYPE=ovs
TYPE=OVSPort

ONBOOT=yes
BOOTPROTO=none
BONDING_MASTER=yes
BONDING_OPTS="mode=0 miimon=100"

Hi Omkar_telee,

I don't see these kind of logs you listed. I just see below under /var/log/neutron/:

dhcp-agent.log
l3-agent.log
metadata-agent.log
neutron-ns-metadata-proxy-002f4f3c-90a2-4acb-9256-822dda95db1e.log
..
server.log
openvswitch-agent.log

Thanks, Trung
