Not used OpenStack for a couple of years so want to get back up to speed. I'm trying to install DevStack into a VMware Workstation CentOS 7 VM. All ok until I run stack.sh and I get :

[ERROR] /home/stack/devstack/functions-common:413 Unable to determine DISTRO, can not continue.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi, I am also facing same problem. I am using Debian Jessy 8 (Raspberry Pi 3) for deploying OpenStack. Can you share your solution? thanks

OK - found it. lsb_release wasn't installed. " yum install redhat-lsb-core -y" resolved it.
