Hello everyone!

I have a problem, that I want to create a VM using template but not in the way that Heat does it. I mean I want to create a file with specs like this. Example: " CPU = "1" VCPU = "1" MEMORY = "512" DISK=[ IMAGE_ID = "0" ] NIC=[ NETWORK_ID = "0" ] "

Please can you help me ?

Apart from Heat, there are no templates in OpenStack, but you could create a matching flavor and put code like this in a shell script:

openstack server create --nic net-id=$1 --image $2 --flavor YOUFLAVOR $3

then run script NETID IMAGEID VMNAME.
