Horizon not showing overcommited hypervisor stats?

I've got an all-in-one packstack on CentOS7 install, inside a physical host with the following params: Intel Core i7 (4 cores, 8 with HT), 32GB RAM, 2TB HDD

In the 'hypervisors' view I'm observing the following stats: image description

As far as I'm aware, I'm using the default overcommit values (x16 for CPU, 1.5 for RAM, 1.0 for HDD), therefore I was expecting to see 128vCPUs and ~50GB RAM total.

Can anyone explain what's wrong or what do I need to change to have this dashboard display data corresponding to my setup?

Hi, that is working 'as designed'.

Oh, well, it can be considered controversial, but as of now it works like this - Nova (hypervisor-stats) is not taking into account overcommit and Horizon uses Nova for that

See https://bugs.launchpad.net/horizon/+b... for discussion (the hyperlink is to exact comment of Stephen Gordon)

In that case, how can I tell how much capacity I have left?
