https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com. The login is ubuntu, and you need to inject an ssh key afaik.

Remember to check security group rules that port 22 and ICMP is open before ssh or ping the server.

This is the official Ubuntu cloud images site. As an alternative, you could craft an image yourself, but I took images from there, and they booted.

"It's not booting" is a bit short in terms of problem description. Which images did you try, did you get error messages, are there log file entries; how did you store the images in glance and how did you boot them? What are your hypervisors and host computers? Etc.

You can download ubuntu 16.04 images from the https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/xenial/current/ (official canonical website). Make sure to verify the download by comparing the SHA256 hash provided on the image download page with one you generate from the downloaded image. More on how to verify the image can be https://www.ubuntu.com/download/how-to-verify (found here).

  1. You can download the Ubuntu 16.04 images from the below link
    http://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/xenial...

  2. And for logging into the Ubuntu newly created VM you need to pass script source which will set the password.

like below:-

password: root123

chpasswd: { expire: False }

ssh_pwauth: True

This link has downloads for various operating systems

docs.openstack.org/image-guide/obtain-images.html

All of them have ssh enabled by default
