Dear All I have sat up an instance through windows OS platform. Now I need to access of that through my Mac OS. I tried these two basic approaches: 1. Created keys on my Mac by ssh command and imported it to my instance. 2. Created and imported key on my instance and downloaded it to my Mac ~/.ssh directory.

When I tried (many many times) to connect to the aforementioned instance, it tries to establish a connection but comes out finally with the following error:

Permission denied (publickey)

Just to mention that I've already gone through many manuals and training web pages but couldn't solve the problem. I do appreciate your helps and comments. Regards. Mansour

Can you add more details about how you created the keys on Mac and how to you try to ssh your instance?

The original keys created by using Putty application on windows 7 and instance created by using those keys. To connect a Mac system to that instance, I went through these two approaches, none worked: 1. Through terminal and ssh-keygen -t rsa -f KeyName command the keys generated and then imported into the instance. 2. Through created new key menu in Security section of instance, a key with .ppm download into the /.ssh directory.
