hi to all,

I am new to openstack but not with virtualization. I am confused about the installation of the openstack cloud. My Question is,

Can I install the openstack on bare metal? currently i have installed it on Centos 7.3. I don't want to install it on any operating system. is it possible?

Best Regards,

Mashkoor Qadir Network Operations Engineer.

OpenStack is not virtualization. It's a huge Python program, requires a Python interpreter and plenty of other underlying software, including virtualization software like Xen or KVM. Linux is usually cited as a requirement, but I think there are versions for other UNIX-like operating systems.
