Hi!

I'm installing RedHat Openstack 10 (newton). After succesfull install, I can not log in to the Director (TripleO) web UI as I get "Connection to Keystone is not available" every time.

I found this bug in RedHat bugzilla but no answer was provided yet. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1395392#c4 (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug....)

This is my undercloud.conf file as I used it for the install in my lab.

undercloud_hostname = os-dir01.essi.lab

local_ip = 172.16.1.74/24

This is my tripleO ui config. [stack@os-dir01 dist]$ cat /var/www/openstack-tripleo-ui/dist/tripleo_ui_config.js window.tripleOUiConfig = { "keystone": "https://172.16.1.72:13000/v2.0",

// Default websocket queue name "zaqar_default_queue": "tripleo" };

This is what I get if I navigate there in my web browser {"version": {"status": "deprecated", "updated": "2016-08-04T00:00:00Z", "media-types": [{"base": "application/json", "type": "application/vnd.openstack.identity-v2.0+json"}], "id": "v2.0", "links": [{"href": "https://172.16.1.72:13000/v2.0/", "rel": "self"}, {"href": "http://docs.openstack.org/", "type": "text/html", "rel": "describedby"}]}}

Please, any help is more than welcome.

Thanks! Seb

Hi,

I am able to reproduce the error everytime. And now, I'm also able to fix it (somehow).

What I do to fix it is to navigate with my web browser to the keystone IP:ports

After doing that, I am able to log in. I reproduced the installation 2 times, facing this error. Both of the times the error was fixed doing that.

Hope it helps someone.

Regards, Seb
