snapshot image is 0 byte
I want to migrate between regions.
I tried referring to the link below.
http://docs.openstack.org/user-guide/cli-use-snapshots-to-migrate-instances.html (http://docs.openstack.org/user-guide/...)
To that end, I created snapshot .It is nothing error message.
Volume size is 10 GB.
Snapshot image and snapshot volume were created
But this snapshot image is 0 byte.
I can boot 0 byte image.
I export 0 byte image to another region and update it. Boot is failed.
It predicts that 0 byte snapshot and snapshot volume are linked. Therefore, I could not boot in a different region
Does anyone know a good way?
You say snapshot image and snapshot volume were created. How did you do create them? Also you say you can boot it. Boot what? And the image is 0 byte; how large is the volume? Finally, what did you export (image or volume), and how?
thank you Bernd! I am sorry even if I am Japanese and English is not good. im edited. Is this ok?
This can happen when you boot from volume. It's a bug that is not yet resolved: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/.... Is this your situation?
