Hi,

Thanks for looking at the tutorial!

Many OpenStack clouds and applications running on them use Application Delivery Controllers (ADC), so don't worry :)

However, recently, ADCs and other specialised networking devices are facing a challenge known as Network Function Virtualisation (NFV). You might be interested in reading more about this topic.

The tutorial itself is a starting point; just one particular example architecture that tends to work well for simple applications. When your application becomes more complex, it is important to perform some analysis on the best way to deliver them.

I hope that helps!
