I dont know wheather is should respond in comment or in an answer so i will give a try here. Everything is installed using debconf.I Responded to cinder the same way I responded to compute. I have a controller and 3 nodes(node1 node2 node3). As for now node1 node2 node3 have nova-compute and nova-networking plus node1 have cinder-volume Details: Controller-> nova(all except compute and netwrk), cinder(api,scheduler), keystone, glance. all services running OK node1-> nova-compute, nova-network cinder, -volume, tgt I have closed the other nodes as i am testing the volumes problems only. I have done a clean install on node1 and reconfigured COmpute and Cinder. COmpute running ok.

Controller's cinder.conf->http://paste.openstack.org/show/128625/

I ffound the solution after taling directly on IRC. By default the debconf didnt create the database conection string in the cinder.conf and also the database cinder user couldnt coonect from anything alse than local host. after manualy creating the connection string in Cinder.conf and also putting % in the Cinder-common DB user Cinder volume was registered in the database. I dont know wheather is if this should respond in comment or in an answer so i will give be filed as a try here. Everything is installed using debconf.I Responded to cinder bug of the same way I responded to compute. I have a controller and 3 nodes(node1 node2 node3).
