What is the mechanism used for registering guest instances in the DNS server from private tenant network? We create Guest Instances using heat templates and assign floating IPs on creation. The primary DNS mentioned in the tenant Subnet is the our standard DNS server used in the environment. The Windows VMs are able to join AD domain with information passed in user data for cloud-init and are discoverable using monitoring tool. But we are facing issues with Linux VMs. Linux VMs are not able register in DNS. Is there any workaround for linux machines to register with DNS?

The only was I was able to conclude was implement DNSaas and call its API using Heat template for registering with floating IP in DNS.
